      John Dunnett is a Canadian based freelance designer of  dance, opera and theatre with fine arts theatrical design training from the University of Alberta.

      Recent credits include work on "Rock of Ages" (Broadway, National Tour), "Die Liebe Der Danae", "Wild Duck", "Bitter Sweet" (Bard SummerScape Festival), “Spine” for the Vancouver Cultural Olympiad (RealWheels/Studio Theatre). Upcoming productions include “How I Learned To Drive", "Romeo and Juliet", "East of Berlin" (Media Room Theatre), "For The Love of Colour, Sound & Words", "Birds of a Feather" (MOD Contemporary Dance Movement), "The Benefit", "The Swearing Jar" (New Works Festival), "Titanic: The Musical" (Two One Way Tickets To Broadway), "I Think I Do" (I Think I Do Productions Inc./Rocky Mountain Picture Group)

      Designs for the stage have been realized across the country in New Brunswick, Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, British Columbia, Internationally at the Bard College SummerScape Festival in New York and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Selected works have represented Canada at the Prague Theatre Design Quadrennial, Summer 2011.
