Join!

It’s easy.  

Simply send this application form to the office, along with your resume. Applicants for Full, Non-Resident and Associate membership should also include the names of two current ADC members who have agreed to provide a letter of recommendation on your behalf which is sent directly to the ADC office via e-mail.   Applicants for Student membership  need only one referee. There is a non-refundable $25 application fee, which may be paid via Credit Card, or (new!) E-transfer to adc@designers.ca.
 

If you do not know any current ADC members, contact the ADC office and ask for an introduction to a member near you.  We can arrange for a portfolio review.

Membership applications are assessed at our monthly Board of Directors meetings.  If you have a contract pending and are working on a tight time-frame, contact the office and ask for your membership to be “fast-tracked”. 

Membership dues for 2019 will be $265 (as voted by the membership at the AGM), and are assessed pro-rata quarterly depending on when you join.  We will invoice you on acceptance. Associate and Student memberships are free to support newcomers to the sector. Non-Resident members pay 50% of the prevailing annual dues. Emeritus members pay $50.
